Skiing and snowboarding in the Dolomites
The ski carousel of the Dolomiti Di Sesto (Sextner Dolomiten) offers 31 lifts and 77 km of slopes in 3 skiing areas, all usable with just one ski pass. In addition, a wonderful panoramic view and numerous runs through dense forests and snowy winter landscapes – a true paradise for all of winter sports lovers.
The Parggenhof is located next to the ski resorts of the South Tyrolean ski areas of Monte Elmo in the Dolomiti Di Sesto (1.5 km), Monte Baranci (7 km) and Croda Rossa (15 km). It is therefore the perfect starting point. About 8 km away there is another ski area called Turntaler in nearby Sillian in Austria.
If you do not want to drive to the ski areas, the ski bus stop is only 300 meters from the farm. In winter, our guests can use all the South Tyrol bus and train lines for free.

The South Tyrolean paradise for cross-country skiers
For classic cross-country skiers as well as for skaters, there are easy to intermediate cross-country ski trails. The Alta Val Pusteria presents itself as an absolute hotspot for cross-country fans.
At about 300 m in front of our farm at the foot of the Monte Elmo area there is one of the many cross-country trails of the world's largest cross-country ski carousel "Dolomiti Nordski" (with around 1,300 trails in the Dolomites, of which 200 km are in Alta Val Pusteria).

Ice skating, curling and horse sleigh
